Ask the Expert: Fischer & Frichtel Sits Down With Matt Johnson

Here at Fischer and Frichtel, we sat down with Matt Johnson, the Community Sales Manager of the Charlestowne Community in St. Charles County to talk to him about what charm is bestowed upon this enchanting St. Charles Community. Fischer & Frichtel to Build St. Jude Dream Home for 2nd Consecutive Year

Success breeds success, and Fischer & Frichtel has once again been chosen to build the 2011 St. Jude Dream Home® .

In 2010, Fischer & Frichtel was honored to be selected as the builder for the first St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway program ever conducted in the St. Louis area.  Demonstrating the legendary generosity of St. Louisans, last year’s campaign achieved the fastest sell-out in the history of the nationwide event, which originated in 1991.

The annual Giveaway is one of the largest single-event fundraisers benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the world-renowned pediatric cancer research center located in Memphis, Tennessee.  All proceeds go directly to the hospital and support its mission of finding cures and treating children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

The 2011 Dream Home will be a spectacular “Wyndham,” a brand new story-&-a-half plan from Fischer & Frichtel’s upscale Heritage Collection, designed by Barry Glantz, Glantz Associates Architects.  The first of this model ever to be built, construction of the home is expected to begin in late March in Village E at Talbridge, an established 187-acre residential development on Friedens Road in St. Charles.

According to project manager Chris Fischer, the basic 4-bedroom, 3-1/2 bath Wyndham provides 3,750 square feet of living space and introduces a new central kitchen layout.  Plans for the Dream Home version, which will be dramatically customized, are currently on the drawing table.  Preliminary estimates value the home in the mid- to upper $500,000s.

Talbridge ranks among the top-selling neighborhoods in the metro area and features several villages linked by a beautifully landscaped parkway, lakes, creeks, gazebos, and “community greens,” parcels of greenspace that serve as common areas for residents’ use..

Scheduling for Dream Home Giveaway activities – groundbreaking, open house tours, availability of raffle tickets, and the televised drawing – is now being finalized.  Fox 2-KTVI will again be the campaign’s electronic media partner.
