Fischer and Frichtel: Quality You Can Trust

Posted by Elizabeth on December 15, 2011

At Fischer and Frichtel, we pride ourselves on the fact that we have been providing the St. Louis community with quality, custom homes for over 25 years. When you have a company built on such quality values as we were built on, it comes as no surprise that our employees tend to work with us for the long haul. Loyal co-worker and friend Bill Berry has been playing a vital role in designing and constructing Fischer and Frichtel homes since 1986. Bill recently took some time to review his general process when it comes to working on a home project.

What makes your position with Fischer and Frichtel so unique?

From the moment I receive a contract for a new home project, I have a hand in the process. I work with everyone from experts at the design center to the architects to ensure the client’s expectations are met and the home is produced in the best possible manner.

How long is the typical home build process from start to finish?

Depending on the size of the home and the extent of the customizations that the home requires, a typical project takes between 14-27 weeks from start to completion.

If you could suggest one thing to new homebuilders, what would it be?

Remember that making the decision to build a home is more than likely going to be the biggest investment that you ever make, which means it is important to plan ahead. Asking yourself questions like “Do I plan on starting a family?” or “Do I want this home to be the only home I ever build?” are things you should consider when buying a new, custom built home.

Building a home with Fischer and Frichtel, your St. Louis homebuilder, means you’re getting a family experience. We truly care about our clients, whether they’re moving into their own custom home now or are seeking assistance during the years ahead.
